Impacted Users: Providers accessing Epic Video Client via Haiku (Version 18.4) on certain mobile iOS versions.
Problem: Providers are having issues disconnecting from one visit and connecting to another. Reports indicate that the first video call hangs and does not fully disconnect, which prevents the provider from connecting to the next patient’s visit.
Workarounds:
- Fully close and restart the Haiku app.
- If #1 doesn’t fix the issue: restart the mobile device completely.
- If #2 doesn’t fix the issue: the provider should switch to a laptop to complete their visits via Epic Video Client.
If the problem continues after trying these steps, please submit a help desk ticket for further assistance. Epic is aware of the issue and is addressing it in an upcoming Haiku release.
